Large Language Models (LLMs) have revolutionized Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Brandes lab is developing and using genomic LLMs such as protein language models as global predictors of biological function, for example to identify disease-causing mutations. We expand the use of these AI models to prediagnose and treat disease and understand our genomes.
